SWCP 2025-2027: Water in the landscape
The two-year process of the Swiss Water & Climate Program (SWCP) combines structured project preparation with a focused implementation phase. With the thematic focus on “water in the landscape”, the forum addresses key aspects such as security of supply, flood protection, sustainable water use and strengthening the climate resilience of regions.
The SWCP sees itself as a transdisciplinary project incubator that involves stakeholders from business, administration, research and civil society in the long term. The process is designed to be iterative, so that projects are not just created once, but are continuously developed and supported. The upcoming process, which will run from 2025-2027, will start in fall 2025 with a meeting of the key players. This kick-off meeting will lay the foundation for the strategic direction of the think tank and the preparations for the 2026 forum, which will be the highlight.
